I am Chef owner of THE GILDED GRAPE and pride myself in distinctively creative and unique meals for special more intimate affairs. By celebrating the abundance of this “Valley of the Moons” I strive to allow the seasonal ingredients to speak for themselves.
I really enjoy my work as On Call chef for special events through the CULINARY INSTITUTE of AMERICA. Working alongside all the bright chefs at both COPIA in Napa and GREYSTONE in St. Helena keeps me up on the newest food trends which gives me the inspiration for creating new Wine Country menus for all my clients visiting the valley.
With over 25 years of culinary experience I was an assistant Pastry Chef at Jeremiah Tower’s STARS restaurant in San Francisco for 3 years, then a pastry chef again at Lark Creek Inn then becoming Day Chef for Mr. Charles Schwab and his top Executives in San Francisco before relocating to Wine Country over 12 years ago to share my real love or food and wine with others.

When Whole Foods Market opened here in the town of Sonoma, I was hired as one of their Prepared Foods Chefs where I developed a deeper appreciation for local and Organic foods and found that most clients were interested in trying new varieties of products available here.
As a culinary ambassador for Wine Country, I use all seasonal organic produce, locally farm raised meats and poultry as well as Artisinal Cheeses, Olives and ‘Just Caught’ fish and seafood–freshness and simplicity of the true flavors of natural ingredients is my philosophy, my signature.
Every menu can be handcrafted to suit a client’s wishes assuring that their special occasion is even more memorable.
